First day

Thanks to our jetlag we startet our day at 6am. We woke up cause we heared the early bird catching the worm. After a quick german coffee and some cereals we assembled our bikes in the morning sun. After that we met Lukas' canadian family members at the jefferson memorial and explored the city together. We had some hotdogs and enjoyed the meal and beauitful weather at the washington monument. After that we visited the 'National Museum of the American Indian'. The museum had a good coffee, too. At the end we walked to the white house which was crowded and very small in comparison with the other buildings. What a great and sunny start!
